Ronny L. Mayne has been creating custom wood carvings, fireplace mantles, personalized signs and other wood-working items since 1983.

Mayne Carvings got a boost in 2000, when Ron Mayne took his woodworking business to the next level by carving onto log mantles for Golden Eagle Log Homes. Since then Ronny's work has been featured extensively in several luxury log homes. Noteworthy among these homes is the Golden Eagle Log Homes "Country's Best Showcase" home in Lake Petenwell, Wisconsin.

Ron uses a variety of hand tools and rotary tools to carve pine beams, old barn beams and various other types of wood for fireplace mantles. He specializes in custom designs that are tailored to the individual customer’s request.

Ronny uses a combination of deep relief, light relief and wood burning to create a variety of styles and textures. Attention to details and depth of scenes are hallmarks of a custom Mayne Carving. Ron enjoys using his creative abilities to the fullest. Ron currently lives in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin with his wife, Lisa and carves in his workshop there.
